Have not tested it side by side against the old Saltiga for long distance casting because I don't have a 4500 size old Saltiga, but judging from the effect of Shimano's lip design, I think it's safe to assume that the new Saltiga will have some advantage over the old one in distance casting
Most new fly fishers do well with 5 or 6-weight rods and reels
Do not use if it has been exposed to raw egg
Look for speckled trout along the edges of the marsh at this time
