Im also typically not a huge fan of plastic hardware on premium backpacks or slings, and I almost always prefer alloy hardware (or alloy buckles like Cobra buckles), but I also found myself really enjoying the shoulder straps main buckle, as it features a fairly unique design thats also super secure and easy-to-use
